LEgend JiuJitsu Academy
The business
Legend Jiu-Jitsu is a gym in University Place where the mats stay full for a reason. What sets them apart isn't just the training; it's the room itself: a mix of first-timers and seasoned competitors, families who train together and a no-ego culture that keeps people coming back. Members describe it as a family, and that sense of belonging is exactly what the gym runs on. For a business built on how a place feels, the photography had to feel like that too.

The challenge
Their online presence hadn’t kept up with the gym itself. The website and social feed leaned on old photos that didn’t show the energy of their new location, the intensity on the mats, the community off them. New members were finding them online and seeing something that didn’t match what walking in actually feels like.

What we did
Over three focused visits, we rebuilt their image library from the ground up. We shot the "Little Legends" class, kids no gi class and an adults class. Enough range to refresh the website, the social feed, and anything they’d need for a while. The goal was simple: make the photos feel like the gym feels.
The result
Legend walked away with a full library of images that finally matches the energy of the gym — and they're putting it to work. The plan is a steady rollout: refreshing the website with the new photos and rolling the images out across social over the coming months, so the feed stays fresh instead of dumping everything at once. Same gym, same people — but now the online version looks like the real thing.
